Denise demonstrates a professional and engaging approach with clients and is highly experienced at working with Boards and Executive teams in an advisory and developmental capacity.
Qualified to Level A and B in Occupational Testing, Myers Briggs and ILM 7 Executive coaching studies, Denise works closely with clients to implement tailor-made solutions which produce excellent resources with appropriate skills and clear cultural fit. Having held posts at Director level across sectors, Denise also understands the challenges faced by Boards and Leadership Teams and is able to provide advice and support accordingly.
Throughout her consultancy career, Denise has worked closely with clients across the UK. She leads the Distinctive People Recruitment Team, with extensive Chair, Non-Executive and Executive Recruitment credentials across sectors and geography. She has led and delivered on major Culture Change projects, provided advice on organisational structures linked to a change in strategic focus, and designed and implemented Competency Frameworks and Appraisal processes.
Through her earlier career in the private sector, Denise developed strong commercial skills, and a clear understanding of Customer Focus, which has resulted in the design and delivery of innovative Customer Excellence programmes in a number of organisations.
She currently holds a role as Non-Executive Director and People Committee Chair at an acute NHS Trust Group.

Mark has worked across sectors throughout all four corners of the UK and Ireland. He has many years’ senior HR and business experience and is a Non-Executive Director in organisations spanning education, finance, community and housing, acting as a specialist adviser on HR issues. He is a member and investigator on the CIPD Professional Standards panel.
Mark works primarily at ‘top team’ level – combining his Reward and HR expertise with wider business talents, enabling him to persuasively influence decisions that have significant business consequences. He encourages innovation and enables those with whom he works to achieve the best they can. Marks approach is bold and empathetic – he instinctively challenges and promotes diversity of perspectives whilst achieving cohesion and focus on ‘doing the right thing’ for the customer.
